The Forum Temple (Temple D) |
Lying to the northwest of the forum, the sanctuary was modified many
times in its history. In its first phase, the monument was composed
of two oblong cellae which can be dated to the Mauretanian period. The
last phase of its life, probably dating to the Severan period, was characterized
by the construction of four cellae proceded by a pronaos oriented north-south,
and accessible from the forum.
